Are you looking for editing the image using paint or any tool for inserting an image in WordPress? No need. It is simple to edit the image in WordPress itself. In this article, we are going to see the steps for performing that. Note that this option is available in WordPress 3+ version.
We insert an image to our post/page. For example, a featured image as shown in the image below.
It doesn’t look like a featured image. We have to edit the image. So we used to go for paint or any other tool to resize the image. It leads to the waste of time. Alternatively, we can edit the image in WordPress itself. Click on the image, where we can see the options for the image as shown in the image below.
The options are aligning and editing are available. Center the image as shown in the image below.
Click on the edit symbol to get image details page as shown in the image below.
Modify the changes. Select the Full size so that image would be optimized. We can also see the changes of the image in the same window. Here we get the image URL, alt text which are shown in the image below.
These are the display settings.In Advanced Setting, we can link the CSS class to the image as shown in the image below.
All we need to do is entering the URL of CSS class. We can see “Edit Original” option which is shown in the image below.
It is used to rotate, flip and crop the image in the “Edit Image” page as shown in the image below.
Once editing is done save the image as shown in the image below.
Thus, the image is edited and resized easily using WordPress.
